OK I got this 78 Brat its in bad shape lots of rust, runs and drives, wondering whats ungradeable on it, will a e81 or ea82 tranny bolt up? the rear is

multiple parts can I put a ea81 setup in there? or?

EA81 will fit.

 

EA82 engine will not fit in rails without chop.

 

Trans.....sure put whatever you want in there it will fit.

 

rear diffs are the same......torsions are seperate each side but otherwise similar to EA81.

 

need deep offset wheels or spacers to go beyond 27" tire even with a lift.

An EA82 transmission will fit if the body has been lifted but not if the Brat is stock. There are clearance issues between the steering and CV joints.
