It looks like there is two different ignition lock assemblies listed for 3rd gen cars. The first being 85 & 86, then the second being 87 on.

 

My question is: do they interchange? I know parts listings are all screwy for older Soobs... and I have nothing to compare to in person. I need one for an 86 gl, and it's already been destroyed.
