Hi, 

I have a 2004 forester standard, recently when I change gear if I am in neutral the rpm goes high 3000 unless I am in gear and my foot is off the clutch. Also I have an Evap leak check engine light. Any suggestions.

I cleaned up the throttle body and the IAC valve and the air filter. I have a small exhaust leak, I don't that is what causing the problem.

Need help Please.
