91' Liberty CV shaft in a 96' Outback?

So one of my front axles is broken, and my mate has an old 91' Liberty GX wagon he's gonna scrap, and will give me the part for free, would the CV shaft fit inside my outback? If so would i need to change both of the front ones for balance?

If not if i use an aftermarket shaft will i have to get two of them for balance?
