I was just wondering if a good from a Impreza outback sport (90s) would fit my 98 legacy outback. Or how to go about getting a bigger scoop installed. Thanks for any help!

It won't fit, end of story.

 

To get a bigger hood scoop, buy one, cut a hole and mount it. You could try a GD STi scoop, this may or may not fit the stock hole, I don't know, bu they are bigger than the standard OB scoop. You could also get an aftermarket JDM one for your generation Legacy Outback off eBay or something.
