hi, 78 brat and i have a leak. it seems to be coming from where the motor and tranny marry, and it has the sweet smell of gear lube. my books dont have any answers and i dont like what the repair shops say. so how do i fix this anyone?pleass!!

to me it sounds like the front trans seal went and is leaking the tranny lube.
