nick666 Posted May 17, 2004 Share Posted May 17, 2004 hi, 78 brat and i have a leak. it seems to be coming from where the motor and tranny marry, and it has the sweet smell of gear lube. my books dont have any answers and i dont like what the repair shops say. so how do i fix this anyone?pleass!! The Scooby Posted May 17, 2004 Share Posted May 17, 2004 call up Brian's Subaru, 206-242-0835 tell them Shean, pronounced Shawn,sent you, tell them yuor problems and they should be able to help you out in tracking it down. to me it sounds like the front trans seal went and is leaking the tranny lube.
