timing cover bolts?

Recommended Posts

The bolts are shouldered, being about 3/4 inch long, the top part 8mm wide and the thread shank m6x1.00. The head has a flange and is 10mm hex. Teh lower bolts are about an inch long all thread 6x1.00 thread and 10mm head.m

I concur...

Ditch the covers.

Best thing I ever did....

I run with the backs

just not the front of the covers....

I could say there are disadvantages to

not having covers but, way better when

it comes to swap out another belt....

Just use anti-sieze on the tensioner bolts

and the idler bolt..... I need to use it due

to the environment.....
