I am replacing the distributor on my RX. I cant seem to get it off. I have never taken it off of this car before but on other cars they come right out. Any hidden bolt or thing i need to remove from the bottom beice with the ignitor thing?

There are 2b bolts that hold the distributor down, instead of just one like many other cars..pull those two, grab, twist and pull, it should pop right out.

Rotor not turning usually means broken drivers side timing belt.

 

Are you sure you have both bolts off the distributor?

i have both bolts off.

 

where could i get one and how much would an electrical ignition be?
