Hey everyone, my name is Mike and I'm trying like heck to become a proud owner of an '08 Impreza Wagon. I'm joining this forum because my dad and I do all of the work and maintenance on our cars and neither of us have owned a Subaru before.

Anyways, are there any common problems or issues that we should be on the lookout for? Everyone I've talked to says Subarus are very reliable but no car is perfect.

Also, this is my first forum that I've ever been apart of so please forgive me if my forum etiquette isn't up to par lol. 

Maybe Prwa101 can look at it if it's close to Sandy, especially if you plan to lift it.

Common issue on the 2.5 liter which you should have is head gasket seepage.  Some oil seepage is normal but once you start losing coolant you will want to change them.

No way! I've been in sandy for 17+ years! or more? Haha. Where abouts do you live? My parents are up on Colman rd and I live down by the body office. I'm sure you've been by my house. Just look for all the lifted subaruas haha
