bobburito Posted February 11, 2015 Share Posted February 11, 2015 Hi guys I just purchased a 96 legacy l for some reason when I take right turns with a little speed my car boggs out some times it dies sometimes it barely idles then 10 seconds later it fine but only right turn I don't get it and it's not throwing any codes any help would be appreciated Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Fairtax4me Posted February 12, 2015 Share Posted February 12, 2015 Hmmm. Mine sputters occasionally if its under 1/4 tank and I go around a long right curve like a cloverleaf exit/entrance ramp. If you drive tight circles in a parking lot (big, wide-open parking lot) will it stumble? It only does it when turning right? Or will it do it if you turn left as well? Luvn737s Posted February 12, 2015 Share Posted February 12, 2015 I had the same problem in a 98 Forester and it ended up being valve shims that were worn causing back pressure into the EGR system and eventually stalling at idle.
