I have a 2000 my00 forester and my struts are sagging.

I can pick up a set of my05 ones for free from a mate but not sure if they will fit.

 

does anyone know if they will? it will save me some dollar.

Pretty sure the 05s are a bit taller. Might have to swap the top mount but other than that should bolt up the same. Lots of people put forester struts on the Legacy models to get some extra ground clearance. Rear suspension stayed the same on the forester up to 08 IIRC.
