March 12, 201511 yr I need to change my Igniter on my Legacy brighton 2.2 1998. They are very expensive and the used ones appear to be scarce. The part number is 22438 AA045, they are very similar to AA040, AA041, AA042, AA043, AA044 I found one 22438 AA044 used. Would it be possible to use it? Thak you!
March 12, 201511 yr Yes. 90-98 igniters are interchangable. The different part numbers reflect minor changes in the design but they all work the same. As long as it plugs in it should be good to go.

I'm guessing there are people on the board that have one or more of these laying around. Post an ad on the parts wanted section here and see what you get!
