lifting my 1998 subaru outback wagon 2.5

Featured Replies

hi guys im new at this im looking to lift my 1998 subaru outback 2.5 i am buying a lift from scott at sjr lifts a 6in i am hoping to run 33in tires but he told me i cant run the stock struts on the lift he did not know what struts to use i did not know if anyone here knew what struts would allow me to run a 31 or 33 in tire thanks in advance for your input

The only way you'll clear that size of tire is to run a huge wheel spacer and offset wheels.

Or do a lower strut lift. Offered by myself soon. Allows 5" larger tire than stock allows. And gives 2.5" of lift at half the cost.

Or fork out 1200$ and buy a set of custom BC racing coil overs. (No spring perch to limit tire) and you can get about 4+" of lift out of the coil over. Personally for the money another 300$ is well worth it!
