Hose question

The 2.2 Impreza engine I bought has this hose that is suppose to go into the air box but the 2003 Forester does not have a place to plug it in but does have a mold mark where that hose can go. So should I just plug it or drill out the air box then put a barbed fitting in it.

 If you look at the pic you can see the hose and the mold in the air box

Yeah just drill the hole and put a barb fitting on there. It does need than hose for proper PCV operation.
