SUBIEBOARDER
So we bought this baby second hand with the hitch receiver installed, but as far as we could tell it didn't have the wiring. I had been tempted to buy the box several times but hesitated. So I got bored one day and decided to pull all of the trays out of the back cargo area, and lo and behold a factory trailer wiring harness still in the plastic bag sitting next to the spare. So now it's up to me to figure out the routing for the wires out of the passenger compartment for connecting to the trailer. The wires after the converter box has a boot that will fit in a knock out under the spare, but that leaves the wires sticking out ready for road rash. Drill a hole? Am I missing something? Thanks! Fairtax4me
There should be similar knock-out plugs in the sides of the cargo are kinda below where the tail lights are. If not, you can still run the wires out behind the tail lights and drop it down behind the bumper.
Silent Bob
Run the wires through the hole under the spare, zip tie excess wire to hitch. That's the intended route.
SUBIEBOARDER
Thanks! I will check for the alt hole, and zip tie away! Thanks for the responses!
