June 12, 201510 yr I did the lift months ago and still can't figure out the best way to fix my 4x4 shifter. I heard bending the clutch shifter isn't the best thing to do.. The reason why it's disconnected is that after I did the lift the 4x4 shifter was in the way of the clutch shifter when I tried to reverse. Your advice and expertise is always appreciated! Here's a pic!
June 25, 201510 yr Having a hard time seeing what your problem is here. Maybe you can add another picture, not really seeing an issue after lifting, shouldn't really change the dinamics, mind you I have not lifted one before.
June 25, 201510 yr Author The 4x4 shifter is in the proper position. The gear shifter is in neutral in the pic. When you try to shift to reverse the 4x4 shifter is blocking the gear shifter.
June 25, 201510 yr I'm guessing the bar with a nut and threads is what is becoming in the way(red arrow) still not sure how that is the 4X4 selector.
June 25, 201510 yr Heat it up with the torch and bend it where it needs to go (off the car). It will also probably need to be extended too.
