September 3, 201510 yr So i just got my first subaru. First issue i had was carburetion so i decided to go with the weber instead of trying to find parts for the stock one. Total success. I decide to take it on its maiden voyage and find out i have all lights but brake lights.I could trace the wires in the harness under the dash so i ran a new circuit for them. Another success. I was pretty excited since I had no clue what I was doing. Now I have no blinkers. Not sure if that had something to do with it or if my simpleton brother was mistaking parking lights for blinkers when we noticed there were no brake lights. I cant find a reliable wiring diagram for them and dont really know what to check other than fuses to get them going. Would it be better to run a new circuit for them as well or is there a better fix? I'm really wanting to get this thing on the road so i hope someone here can help.
September 3, 201510 yr I would check all fuses and the connection. Then check your relays and wires for damage. Having a manual really helps there might be what your looking on the online manuals on the home page I believe.
September 4, 201510 yr Author Thanks didn't find any on the home page. Ill try and trace the wires. But if all else fails ill run a new circuit. Not trying to restore it by any means. I just want the thing functional for now.
