1983 brat has anyone tried to repair a crack by filling with gorilla glue and by vinyl paint? It only has one long crack

How did they turn out? Was the e6000 paintable?

My dash was removed and I used plastic paint in sunrise red.  It looked pretty nice.  Not perfect.  The majority of the Glue was hidden.  The visible parts have a slight crease.
