2005 OBS B-pillar outside trim Removal?

I have a 2005 OBS and the PO had dogs.  I need to replace the window seals, and  on these cars the seal is one large piece that also runs down the B-Pillar.  The B-Pillar has a plastic trim piece held on by 4 plastic clips.  How do you remove the trip without breaking the trim or clips?

I've tried a couple at the yards and the top to clips have a inverted U clip and the bottom a normal U clip slots.  Thus you can't slide it up or down to remove the trim.  I know there is a trick, what is it?

If no knows for sure, I'll head to a body shop and ask them to remove it.
