my alternator just went out on me and i need one fast but i cant find one thats cheap. the cheapest i find is $45 but i just lost my job and have little money. im hoping someone knows a website or place that offers cheap alternators for a 1982 subaru brat gl 4wd. if anyone knows a place or website please tell me ASAP cause i need to get my truck running so i can get it checked. Please if you have any help tell me cause both my subaru brats are my pride and joy.

$45 is going to be hard to beat.

 

There is a good chance you could repair yours by replacing the worn out brushes(inspect them).
