New member here. I'm looking to buy a code scanner because of problems with my Ford and I'd like to use it on my 2015 Forester when it's out of warranty. The scanner I'm considering is the Autel 619. I's a little expensive compared to others but it has updateable software and also reads ABS and SRS codes. A call to their tech support didn't give me a definite answer as to compatability. They do update the software monthly and he told me they add new vehicles when they get into needing repairs. Anybody using this reader on a Forester or any new Subaru? Thanks.

I don't see why it wouldn't be compatible, even my harbor freight scanner is compatible with all subies up to 2011 (the year I bought it). I would suggest buying it through a supplier that has a good return policy just in case it doesn't work.

Thanks. I was also hoping someone had used it to read  ABS and SRS.
