I have a 97 outback 2.5 I'm looking to replace the coilovers what would you guys recomend?

KYB is generally best for struts. Re use the springs usually.

 

King springs are more expensive but will stiffen the ride and give about an inch of lift.

I have both a 98 and 99 outbacks, that I have replaced with KYBs, at all four corners. I re-used existing coil springs. Very satisfied with the KYBs. They are a little firmer then original OEMs, but maybe that's because old struts were worn out. Can't beat KYBs for price and performance.........highly recommend.
