My son wants me to lower his 2000 Forester. Is there a quick and inexpensive way to do it correctly. Will legacy struts do it.

Impreza struts. Forester and Impreza are basically the same chassis

So 2000 Impreza struts will drop it a bit? Do they need to be from a wagon

2002-2007 for sure.. Wagon would sit higher I think. I know WRX wagons are like 1" over the sedan.. I think the WRX is slightly lower than a regular Impreza, you could find those new cheap enough.
