Manual Lever Instead of Push Button 4WD

Featured Replies

Screwed up some of the wiring on my ej swap and cut some wires I shouldn't have.

Looking to convert the push button to manual lever. Even If its something I'll have to crawl under the car to activate. Only using this body for the next month and don't want to invest time into rewiring the switch from god knows where I cut it and figuring out how the vacuum lines work.

Has anyone done this? Easy way to do so?

I've thought about making the diff lock cable operated on a rx trans i'm sticking in a 82 coupe. I would imagine you could do the same to activate the 4wd on this.

Seems reasonable going to look into it tomorrow.

Did this to my Loyale, drilled a hole in the trans tunnel and installed a metal bar (modified towel bar) .   You will need something stiffer than a cable or a coat hanger.

Sweet! Looks like I'm going to do that. Forget messing with the wiring and buttons and vacuum nonsense
