October 9, 20169 yr The electrical switches on my 92 Loyale door jams have deteriorated, driver side had to remove boot and old messy tar and scrub down to bare part. Subaru dealer said part no longer available and I don't want to use old junk. Found utube vids about replacement switch that may or may not fit where fella said to just unscrew the sole screw and pull out to disconnect. I can unscrew single phippips on mine and wiggle out switch but when I pull it out it stops before any connector shows up. Afraid to force it Can this Loyale switch be removed from outside by pulling out to expose connector? I guess maybe more important is I need to find a source for a replacement. Mine was similar to one on utube but not a match. Anyone found a source for replacement switches? I was hoping that maybe that part was used over various makes and I might find a new one (and replace them all) that matches. thanks!
