I'm planning a 2" lift and would like to fit 27" tires on 6 lug steels. Does anyone know what model trucks to look for in the junkyard for the rims? I'm concerned that the wheels will stick out way past the fenders.

Just called and salvage yard has most everything on the list. Quick follow up...which would stick out the farthest? Also I'm open to recommendations on which would be best.

As far as I know 3.5 backspace is pretty close to stock. Might need others with more experience to chime in on that.

The early model Trooper wheels look pretty good. I found some 14 inch six lug wagon wheels off of an early model Dodge D50 that look really good too.
