So I'm new here and I hope I'm not mucking anything up here by posting in the wrong area but a buddy of mine sent this pic to me from pinterest. I can't seem to get a response thru that social medium so I thought I'd take a chance and see if the owner is here on USMB. I have questions regarding the little description that was left with this pic.

This particular vehicle appeared on AUSubaru awhile back, but I don't believe the owner ever posted. From memory he was based in northern Victoria, Australia.

a small caption described that the engine from a 1980 VW rabbit diesel truck engine was dropped in that brat...I was just hoping to pick the guys brain. Thanks for the response tho
