i just need so help on learning a stick if i am in 2nd and slow down do i need to down shift or is that only when i stop.

just pull it out of gear and use your brakes.

 

1st gear is for getting moving rom a stop or to save your rump roast from getting stuck!

 

in a parking lot if you really need to crawl then you can slip it down into first but you have to be moving VERY slowly.

 

you wont even think about it in no time :)
