The car is 2003 forester. I ended up getting it running I forgot to change the cam sprocket from the ej25 to the ej20 once I did that it fired right up. I appreciate everyone on here's comments about there motor experiences everyone here helped me get this motor running. The new ej20 runs very nice and I don't think I lost much power. If I can help anyone out hit me up here or call me 740 7032043
