I have a new clutch installed in my 1989 ea82 and when i adjusting the pedal play to 10-20 mm the clutch release level wont get the correct end play.

 

Or if i set the release level freeplay to 17 mm according the haynes book the pedal will travel way over 20 mm before the clutch engage.

 

Whatever i do one of the measurment will be off.

What am i doing wrong?

 

 

 

I adjust it so it grabs as soon as possible and it will still shift, I take those pedal play values with a grain of salt
