June 23, 20178 yr Want to buy a specific set of wheels for my 95 leggy wagon, but they don't come in 5x100 spec. They do however come in 5x114... Can I pull 5x114 hubs from another model and put them in my current bearing housing, or do the 114 hubs/housings use a different wheel bearing also? I'm already going to pull the rear housings off a later model to go with rear discs. Basically what I'm asking, are 114 hubs the same dimensions as far as shaft diameter/length/spline count, to keep my current cv axle and bearing setup?
June 25, 20178 yr Might and I say MIGHT be able to use Early STI hubs from a WRX. (up to '07 I think) They are 114 and I think fit the same bearing. If nothing else get the Whole STI knuckles but that will be more $$$$
June 26, 20178 yr No. You'll need hubs, knuckles, axles, parking brakes, rear struts, front rotors, rear brakes, probably more. Axles are designed for a wider track width, so you'll either need custom axles, or the GD suspension arms. Gloyale is right, '05-'07 STi is your donor window. All the other 5x114.3 Subaru applications are very different.
