I misspoke. Its the avls system rather than the vvt syystem  

 

 

Spun bearing in 2008 ej 25 with avls. Need to remove metal shavings from avls unit on heads. Can it be cleaned out with the avls solenoid connected to the base. If the solenoid needs to be removed from base, how does it disconnect from base.
