Hey guys,

I'm going to be moving from Wichita Falls, TX to Albequerque, NM in March, and I will be going from an elevation of 1000 feet to 5100 feet above sea level in my Hitachi carbureted '86 GL wagon. Will I need to worry about anything being affected by such an elevation change, or will my motor be unaffected? Also, are there any suggestions on what I should buy for the car before I start this trip?

    You won't notice any difference. It's not that big of a change. I've driven my Brat from sea level to 5500 ft and other than a slight lack of power on passes, nothing was different.
