Hello - Just joined this forum, pleased to meet you all.  My wife and I own a 2016 Forester which has been a great vehicle for us to date .  We've enjoyed driving the coast from Maine to Florida since retirement a few years ago (the new Forester was a retirement gift to ourselves), and are currently mapping out a cross-country road trip for next spring.  Looking forward to perhaps picking a few brains here!

Sounds like you’re doing exactly what I intend to do someday. 

One suggestion , and don’t tell anybody else , try Nova Scotia after Maine. Take the ferry from Bar Harbor next time. And pardon me if you’re already familiar. Cape Breton is my happy place.

Meanwhile , enjoy the 48 States !
