Greetings and Please Help

Greetings to all of you Subaru owners. I love my 1992 Subaru Legacy Station Wagon, but having some problems and need some help. A little over a year ago, my S. showed signs of needing new struts. I procrastinated. When they went out in the front end, I pushed the "Height" button and the car jacked up in the back like it was preparing for the gun to start the hundred yard dash. Took it to my local service station. This, plus other problems they discovered, cost me just over $3,000. Still, the problem was not fixed. Since then, the back end lowers over the tires during cold or windy weather. The body does not rub the tires, but it is a bumpy ride. Sometimes, it goes back into position. The dealer suggested I go to a brake and strut service center and have them replace the subaru struts with regular struts that would negate the "Height" button. What do you suggest? The car has about 115,000 miles, but I don't want to keep throwing money into a deep hole. Thank you for any suggestions!!!

im in columbus now. maybe i can look at it? the problem is commonly the o-rings in the air lines, sometimes a wiggle wil make it seal, if its an intermittent problem.

i know of 3 legacys at the junk (u wrench) if you wanted to do the conversion. its fast and easy if you know what to do
