Grounding Locations 2005 Outback 2.5i

Featured Replies

Does anyone have a comprehensive list or photos of all the major grounding points on a 2005 Outback 2.5i?

And can anyone tell me definitively which ones would most directly impact Keyless Entry and key ignition operation?

Those pictures are in the Harness section at the end of the FSM Wiring diagram. Look for the fat black arrows pointing to the ground terminals. It will show you the location of every ground terminal.

At the beginning of the wiring diagram is a section called Ground Circuit that will show what circuits are connected to each ground terminal and its number like GB-1, GB-2 etc. Then go to the Harness section to find the location on the body.

Thanks!  I appreciate the guidance!
