March 18, 20215 yr It seems the temp sender on my series 1 3 rd gen JDM sedan is bad. It only works intermittently and jumps up and down. Does anyone know if the temp sender for a digi dash (orange) is a unique part? It has this unusual looking black box on top of the thermostat housing that my later model analogue dash Omega doesn't have. I suspect this may be the sender for the digi dash. I have fitted an aftermarket digital temp gauge to keep an eye on proceedings, so it's not critical, but would be nice to get it working. Cheers guys. Edited March 18, 20215 yr by KiwiGL
March 19, 20215 yr The black box on top of the thermostat housing is auxiliary sir valve. I don't know about thw digo dash, but the sensor for analog dash ones is one the roght side of tge thermostat housing. One wire connector in it. I would assume it is the same for digi dash too.
