I have a lead for a 5 speed manual transmission that i want to do a swap out with on my 97 impreza L auto. The tranny comes out of a 95 1.8.....any caveats or mating issues or flywheel...or ??? let me know .

you're goin to need a few more things. One big thing you need to check is that the final drive ratio is the same as your car, so when you put it in, the rear diff and the front don't fight each other.
