87 RX - The turbo stopped working

Featured Replies

I just put a new (used from a junkyard) motor in my RX. I used the junkyard turbo also and it worked but was leaking oil. So I put my old turbo (which was working before I yanked the motor) in the RX and now the turbo does not appear to be functioning.

I dont know much about turbo operation.......and information/help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Gregg

Well...whats it doing exactly? no boost or what?

Never mind.......it seized for some reason. Time to get a new turbo.

what ya doing with the old one? Me want.

The old ones are getting tossed. They are only $20 at a u-pull-it junkyard.

Dude, get me as many as you can....new, old, broke, working, whatever. Me want.
