Ok, even before IC and after...no BOV or with....from around 2800 to 4000 it gugles, burps, hickups, stumbles...and has power...but is sporatic....like aan ill tuned carb kinda...at 4k its like the switch for full smooth uninterupted power is tuned on and its smooth sailing all the way to 6k with the IC now...before IC it was smooth to 5400 where detonation would get the better of it.

 

New O2 sensor, new cap, rotors, wires, NGK racing plugs, Accell coil is KNOWN GOOD, clean fuel system and new fuel filter, runs 93 octane all the time, and...clean 3 inch cone filter, 2.5 inch cat back and gutted cats, stock boost, WRX IC, stock turbo, and...like...thats all the mods I can think of.

 

Any ideas? Also seems like less of an issue in 4th or 5th gear. its worse in 1, 2 and 3.
