August 1, 200421 yr after the car sits for awhile like over night, it starts up fine idle is fine , i 'll put it into 1 st gear and start moving and push on the gas it will almost stall or buck and run real slow for a few feet , after it is warmed up it is fine , timing is set , new fuel filter, acell coil, 8mm wires, new cap, but i did not change the rotor , or is it something else ?
August 1, 200421 yr Yeah my 86 coupe does the same. I think its just what older cars do. Let it sit and rev it a little bit and try to warm it up some... this usually helps for me. Thats just my 2 cents but there could be something more to it. Goodluck
August 1, 200421 yr Yeah i think thats just what you get driving an older car... they just need to be warmed up a little but there might be a way to get it so it doesnt as much... I just havent found it. Try startin your car a few minutes before you have to go somewhere or else just sit in it and hold it at about 1500 RPMS for a minute or 2 and it should be okay.
