99 Forester Lift

Featured Replies

Hello this is my first post being a new subaru owner, i have a 1999 forester s w/ winter package, roof rack, ect. I LOVE IT but since my friends all have 4x4 suvs on like 33in. tires, and i ride with them i need some help with my new suv, ok so here i go,

I am looking for a 2-3 lift, i assume this would have to be a coil spring spacer, but i cant find any?????? i saw in the photo gallery a guy with a 2" lift:slobber: where did you get yours, custom fab?....... also tires it has 215/65/16's on it now, so i went to the BF Goodrich web site and saw they sell a 215/70/16 All Terrain, will this fit even with minor cutting? And is that the best All terrain, i hit the trails like twice a month(sadly) it is a daily driver so i am on the street alot, Please let me know any suggestions, i am dying to get this thing on the trail. :slobber:

IIRC Mutrat79 made the lift kit for that Forester.

Here is a thread that he put re:lift kits

the difference between the 215/65/r16 and the 215/70/r16 is only an inch.

check this site out for tires sizes between Metric and Standard.

Super Swamper sells some tires that may fit.

Good luck with the build.
