the goat
okay guys i think i am going to actually try something mechanical on my own. i have searched the message board for all the information on r12 to r134 ac change and i have convinced myself that i should attempt this. my major problem with car repair is a lack of confidence and the idea of "i got it apart and i can't get it back together" syndrome. wish me luck and any words of encouragement will be greatly appreciated. i will keep you posted. SubaSkeet
should not be hard at all. make sure you check how much freon you put in after its converted... with r134 should not be more than 2 bottles. it would help to check other sites for a step-by-step analysis. heres one, although its a range rover site: http://www.rangerovers.net/rrupgrades/ac134a.htm good luck! skeet
