I started my subaru today and I noticed quite a bit more exaust than usual. There was lots and it was a whitish gray and didnt smell to appealing. I'm just learning about cars so any help would be greatly appreciated. oh yes its a 88 gl-10 turbo

Did it smell like burnt oil?

 

Sometiems it can run down and build up in the combustion chambers. Burns off the next time you fire it up.

 

Mine BILLOWS if I let it sit for more than a week :(

 

Go by smell... oil? fuel? nasty gagenducing burnt coolant smell?
