September 20, 200421 yr If so how did it do? Stuck? Climbing? Good cornering? When I say stock I mean bone stock. NO LSD! NO special tires! I have 2 legacys at my off-road disposal and I was thinking of doing one mud and one sand. This is FL...we have tons of both. I also have a Jeep to pull them out. LOL
September 20, 200421 yr I've driven my '91 2.2 Auto 4WD Legacy wagon on soft sand - it copes as long as you don't stop or bottom out on the belly.
September 20, 200421 yr I've had my '98 Outback in the desert here in Saudi Arabia. It doesn't keep up with my buddy's stroked blazer, but it holds it's own and it's light weight helps to keep it afloat. Just remember to deflate your tires as much as possible, keep moving over the really soft stuff, and watch your approach/exit angles.
September 20, 200421 yr I have relatives in St. Augustine and there is one beach entrance that's 4WD only. And the only Subaru I've seen there with FL plates - a late 90's Legacy - negotiates it with no problem at all.
