redkard4
this might not be a big deal to most but i am proud of it. i switched over my ac in my 90 loyale from r12 to r134 all by myself. i had been without ac for 3 years and finally decided to give it a try myself. $30.00 later and i sweat no more on the way to meetings. i haven't been on in a while because i lost my internet due to some construction being done (cut the dsl line). i wasn't able to log back in as "the goat" don't really know why so i am now redkard4 for the time being. its good to be back. s'ko
this might not be a big deal to most but i am proud of it. i switched over my ac in my 90 loyale from r12 to r134 all by myself. how hard was it. The compressor on my BRAT is dead and I want to replace it but then I would loose the coolant in my system and have to recharge. BW
redkard4
honestly, i am a mechanical idiot and it took me about 15 min. to complete the charge. i had heard that the it might not be that cool but the a/c works great. the only materials i had were the kit from advance auto parts and a haynes manual to show the high side/low side of the compressor.
