As I have said in a previous thread, I own a 78 brat. Is there any way that I install struts from the newew subarus onto mine. I have exhausted all efforts to find replacement cartriges for the stock ones. Any suggestions?

you can replace your stock struts wth the newer EA81 style struts. I don't know about the fit but with some slight modification, they can fit to my knowledge

http://www.classicgarage.com sells struts for the 78 Brat, they are a bit pricey, but available. I also see them on eBay occasionally.
