clutch problem possibly

Featured Replies

alrighti changed my clutch pp and anything else that may apply this summer and ive been driving it for while and have noticed that the clutch is very very heavy. it feels as if the brand new pressure plate is toast. before i got it running again my sister was driving it and busted the clutch cable before i changed the clutch. he "modified" a cable off of a parts car we had he said it was a little different. cold it just be real bad cable that is giving me problems? im stumped.

Do a search on clutch cable. I haven't experienced this myself, but I've been told that if the clutch cable is not set up EXACTLY like from the factory, the pedal will be really heavy. Correct routing of the cable is very important too.
