October 31, 200421 yr I found myself looking at engines for my 90 legacy on ebay and came across this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33615&item=7931585427&rd=1 Will this bolt and plug right up or are we talking major work? Can I leave the tranny in the car when pulling the engine or does it have to go to? it is AWD auto.
October 31, 200421 yr It will bolt up. You may have to swap some parts like the intake manifold (possible harness differences) The japanese often put accessories and such in different places on thir own cars..lol You may need to do a little swapping of brackets or sensors..thats normal for a lot of japanese crate type motors. Its all bolt on though. Oh.. and no, you don't need to pull the tranny and motor all as one. the motor will come out easier by itself.
